About

I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Tehran. I translate memories and feelings into visual forms.

My path has taken me through fine art, theater, and cinema. Through these different mediums, I’ve learned that the further I go, the more I find myself moving inward, peeling back layers until I’m back at the basics. Whether I am imagining a scenery, making a fire sculpture, or editing a documentary, I am looking for those moments of reality that I want to hold and make last and capturing the beauty that refuses to be erased.

I’m currently focused on exploring how we survive and remember in a geopolitical climate that feels increasingly unexpected and shifting. I currently work with colored pencils, a process that allows me to slow down and stay with a subject until it’s fully realized.

Professional Highlights

Exhibitions | My video works have been featured in spaces including Dastan Art Gallery’s Parallel Circuit (in exhibitions such as Judgement Night: Daddy Kills People, Mamali Shafahi, and Mad, Ali Akbar Sadeghi). My paintings were showcased at the MENART Fair 2025 in Paris by Badguir Gallery, which represents my work in Europe. My sculptures have been featured in group exhibitions at Nian Art Gallery and the Amaanatdaary space.

Film Editing | As a film editor, I have had the privilege of collaborating on documentary projects including Sam Kalantari’s Facing the Rook (backstage short documentary) and Melika Shafahi’s Swimming Against the Current (feature-length documentary).
